Overall and section masterpoint awards for unit games are

black points and are 85% of a sectionally-rated event.

Points won in Unit games count toward the Ed Schultz Unit Champion Award race.

In 2013, the Unit Board of Directors has changed the management of Unit game sanctions.  ACBL allocates 24 unit games per calendar year to each unit. The board prepares a schedule suitable for our membership, allocating the games to various days of the week and times of day.  The Unit Board then contacts Club Owners to get their interest in participating in specific games.  Clubs may charge an extra table fee for these games.
